If there is an emergency situation such as acute shortness of breath, dial 999 for assistance.  Otherwise the individual should go directly home, observing hygiene and distancing measures preferably avoiding public transport by using a private car or a taxi with a screen partition from the driver, and follow current Government “stay at home” guidance.  They should book a test through NHS Inform or, if they can’t get online, by phoning 0800 028 2816.  Hosts should follow up with the person to determine in the test was positive or negative.  Hosts must inform CVH as soon as reasonably possible of all details of the incident.
