Joanne is an internationally trained health and wellbeing practitioner.  For the past nine years she has been supporting people to find motivation and develop the tools to optimise their emotional and physical health and wellbeing.  Her passion for enabling people to experience optimal health and realise their full potential has lead her to train and qualify in various physical and emotional health modalities.

As a Health & Wellness Coach Joanne is an expert facilitator of mindset and behaviour change.  She supports her clients to overcome the internal and external obstacles that hold them back from meeting their full potential and living as healthy and fulfilling lives as they possibly can.  Through deep, personalised coaching, she helps her clients to find the motivation and develop the tools to optimise their emotional and physical health and wellbeing.

Joanne’s coaching approach integrates the evidence-based principles and tools of several psychology and behaviour change models as well as insights and strategies from the science of habits, neuroscience, positive psychology, Motivational Interviewing, adult development, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and goal setting.  She uses a variety of modalities as no single approach suits everybody.

Joanne received both her foundation and advanced coach training through Wellcoaches, USA – the gold standard for high-impact, evidence based and innovative coach training and certification for health and wellness professionals.

She is also a certified Personal Trainer, Weight Management Specialist, and a licensed Mindful Eating workshop Facilitator and Personal Coach.  She recently completed a Lifestyle Medicine Coach Certification and will be even better placed to support people to make sustainable lifestyle changes to prevent, treat and reverse lifestyle-related chronic diseases.  And finally, Joanne is also a Level 1 Essentrics® Instructor. Essentrics® is a full-body dynamic stretch and strength workout.

Joanne offers 1-1 and small group health/wellness/lifestyle change coaching both online and in-person, mindful eating webinars, workshops and coaching as well as 1-1 and group Essentrics classes.
