Accredited in Italy as Psychologist, I moved to Scotland in 2007.  I have experience in counselling, talking therapy, and I work with clients coming to me for different reasons.  In some cases feeling a bit lost in life and wanting to understand themselves or explore what they want; in some cases for low mood, depression or anxiety; in other cases for past trauma, eating disorders, self-harm, or family problems.  I also have experience delivering workshops on resilience, procrastination, wellbeing, and career vocation; and individual sessions on the same themes.  As well as working with clients, I have undertaken academic teaching and research in Social Psychology, Work Psychology, Neuropsychology and Psycholinguistics both in Scotland and in Italy.  Currently I work in private practice with adults, young people, and families; with the University of Stirling as Student Counsellor, and Mental Health Mentor, and in the Psychology Department; and also with the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the U.K. delivering Career Vocation Workshops.  I have also worked with the third sector with charities, GP surgeries and in Wellbeing Projects with High Schools and Primary Schools.

I tailor and adapt my intervention to the individual and to different requirements and demands.  I do this using different techniques and approaches from:

-Group Dynamics
-Stress Control, Mindfulness
-Transactional Analysis
-NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programme)
-CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
-OATT (One At The Time session therapy)

I am registered with the Italian National Professional Body of Psychologists and with the Tuscan Professional Body of Psychologists.  I am a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society and in the process of being registered as a Counselling Psychologist with the British Health and Care Professions Council.
