Sears Image 18-12A warm invitiation to gather in ceremony and community to celebrate this Celtic festival of Yule.

The longest night and the shortest day.  A moment to come out of hibernation to share space and join each other in a symbolic practice of letting go of all that is no longer needed and to begin preparations for all that wishes to be born come the Springtime.  This is indeed a time of re-birthing, it carries the intention of it, the whisper of it … the seed of Spring itself is planted here.

From this point onwards daylight will begin to increase, and the night draw itself in as we cycle towards the festival of Imbolc and the Spring Equinox.

By consciously taking time out of the every-day to mark this time, we come together in spirit and space to celebrate what has been true until this point, to give thanks for all the lessons we’ve had and release this past section of the cycle so that we can step into the next phase anew, with our vital energy firmly rooted in the present moment, truly here, in our bodies, Living our life!

This is a process that occurs naturally, as we are in fact beings of Nature and this we cannot escape, no matter how hard some parts of us try to make us forget … and as this is more of a happening, there truly is very little left to do.  The do-ing and the do-er melt and merge into one and this is the state of Flow you may have heard be spoken of …

The practices we will be engaging in are all simple and close to earth.  All carrying the intention of bringing us more deeply into the body, into the breath and into the present moment and for this to ripple out for the highest good for all.

I am inviting in the help of sacred Cacao to be our handmaiden in all we delve into.  A ceremonial drink will be offered to those who would like to partake and benefit from this ally.  Cacao works through the body and with the body, grounding us in the present through enhanced sensitivity and tuning us into our heart-mind and, if we allow it, the simple pleasure of being in our own skin.

You can safely expect delicious tunes, juicy movement and deep restoration.

This gathering is open to all over 18 years of age however please note that consumption of cacao is Not Recommended for those who have severe heart-related illness or those currently taking certain types of anti-depressant medication.  If you have any questions please contact your GP and do not hesitate to get in touch with me via direct message, I will do my best to help out.

I look forward to sharing with you!

With Love,

Fiona
