from being awake in the presence

December Newsletter from In The Moment

Hello<<First Name>> How are you?

It seems a lot of people are doing something different for the festive period this year. Donating time and money instead of buying gifts, or making their own gifts, committing to buying from local shops and makers, supporting individual artists and even buying yoga classes for friends, are all ways in which people are signalling their disenchantment with the consumer experience.

For a long  time now, in offering my Midwinter Stillness workshop, I have been encouraging people into a quieter, more reflective relationship with this season of darkness, And, although the Midwinter workshop isn’t happening this year – me being up a mountain in Mallorca! – I will be in contact with those who usually attend with some Solstice words.

A few of our teachers are also offering classes and workshops around this time, for those who want an antidote to the hustle and bustle.

Ratnadevi is holding her monthly two hour  Yoga for Mindful Living class on Wednesday 10th December

Richard and Catherine are offering a Solstice Biodanaza workshop on Thursday 18th December – contact Catherine for details

Barbara Sellars is holding a Solstice Five Rhythms Dance gathering on Sunday 21st December

ALSO – if you are missing the Midwinter Stillness workshop – I am offering a workshop for Imbolc on Sunday 1st February 2015 from 11 am – 4 pm at In The Moment. Booking is online now.

Please check the In The Moment timetable for details of class times over the festive period. I will be updating this over the next couple of weeks, so keep checking.

Wishing you much love and peace over the coming weeks. I am back in Glasgow on or around the 12th January, and hope to be teaching class, if you want to come to class, or just catch up.
